Held at Newport Vineyards in Middletown, RI
With Little State Flower Company

We believe everyone should have access to beautiful local flowers for their events, so Little State Flower Company specializes in DIY flower buckets! These are a great option for budget-minded clients with a flexible flower vision and/or have a knack for design. We are excited to collaborate with Newport Vineyards on this oft-requested workshop for everyone interested in learning what to do with the contents of these awesome buckets!
During the workshop we will teach you the fundamentals of getting the most out of your DIY Flower Bucket and you will create your own mason-jar size arrangement to take home. We’ll discuss the different components of the buckets, how to order them and quantity, adding on specific materials, vessels, and more! Then we’ll demonstrate how to use the materials that may be included in a bucket (greenery/foliage, focal and secondary blooms, and our favorite wispy bits) to create a simple, unique, and 100% local design of your own.
All the materials and tools will be provided by Little State Flower Company and students will get to take home their arrangement after the workshop.

Participants will be learn how to design a small arrangement with 100% local flowers and foliage grown in Portsmouth, RI. We will highlight airy spring blooms such as poppies, nigella, sweet peas, ranunculus, anemone and more! Most of these flowers are delicate and not seen at your average grocery store chain...so this will be a fun opportunity to work with specialty garden flowers. We'll show you how to build a base layer for your arrangement with our perennial foliage and herbs and then incorporate the ephemeral Spring blooms.
All the materials and tools will be provided by Little State Flower Company and students will get to take home their arrangement after the workshop.
