Everyone loves beautiful flowers…but it takes more than love to run a successful floral design studio. If you are thinking of taking the plunge to start your own career in the floral industry this class is a must! This full day intensive is perfect for aspiring florists looking to increase their design knowledge and capabilities in putting together a wedding from scratch. We'll share our secrets on the process of transforming those beautiful buckets of flowers into a cohesive event!

In the morning, we'll get into some basic business practices and discuss our flower budgeting and proposal techniques. Then we'll get to work creating arrangements for a long tablescape; currently a mainstay at Northern California wedding receptions. You will design a small centerpiece that is full of movement and air while simultaneously respecting spatial limits. After styling the communal table with our designs, we will sit down to a picnic-style lunch and admire our hard work!

The rest of the afternoon will be entirely centered on creating an opulent, lush, seasonal bridal bouquet and the accompanying groom's boutonniere. We'll share our ribbon stash with you and hone in on the small special details that make show-stopping personals.

The class will run from 9am to 5pm on Saturday, August 15th at our South San Francisco studio. The cost is $875 and includes all floral materials and supplies, light snacks and beverages, and lunch (plus access to all the wedding knowledge in our brains!). Studio Choo gift certificates and class credits may be applied.
